Selena Gomez called police at the weekend because she feared there was an intruder in her home after discovering a back door wide open.
Gomez - who has had several incidents of trespassing on her property in the past - called emergency services after arriving home shortly before midnight and discovering her back door was wide open.
Police arrived at Californian property but found no one inside and no evidence of forced entry, TMZ reports.
In April, a man was arrested after a "suspicious person" was spotted jumping a fence into the 21-year-old star's garden.
The incident came less than a week after a 21-year-old man was charged for burglary and trespassing at her house after Selena and a friend heard a strange noise at the five-bedroom mansion.
A man then rang the front doorbell and asked if the 'Spring Breakers' actress - who has rekindled her romance with Justin Bieber - was at home, but her friend claimed she wasn't and he left.
When officers from the Malibu/Lost Hills department arrived a short time later, they found the man had broken into the star's guesthouse.
And before she moved into her current home,
Juan Garcia was sentenced to 120 days in Los Angeles County Jail for trespassing at her old house in Tarzana, California in January, while Thomas Brodnicki, 46, was ordered to stay away from her in 2011 after repeatedly talking about killing her while under psychiatric hold.
