The 41-year-old singer marked her recognition with the Icon Award at Sunday's ceremony (23.05.21) by treating the audience at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theatre to some of her greatest hits, including 'All I Know So Far', 'So What', 'Who Knew', 'Just Like a Pill' and 'Just Give Me A Reason', with nine-year-old Willow joining her to kick off her set with their track 'Cover Me In Sunshine', which saw both mom and daughter do some impressive acrobatic rope tricks.

Pink - who was also accompanied to the event by her and husband Carey Hart's four-year-old son Jameson - paid tribute to her kids when she accepted her award from Jon Bon Jovi.

She said: "Willow, nailed it. Jameson, nailing it.

"I love what I do and I love the people that I get to do it with. And we're pretty good at what we do, but it wouldn't matter if no one came to see us and play with us. So all you guys out there and around the world, thank you for coming out. Thank you for letting us all heal together. I cannot wait until we can do it again, til we can just sweat all over each other."

Elsewhere at the event, The Weeknd - who scooped 10 awards - retired his trademark red suit and performed 'Save Your Tears' amongst moving traffic.

He began his performance in a red convertible, leading a fleet of vehicles behind him, before exiting the auto and singing in the parking lot, with 15 other cars and four 18-wheeler trucks circling around him in an choreographed driving routines.

H.E.R. kicked off the night with 'We Going Crazy' with DJ Khaled and Migos, while proceedings were brought to a close when the ceremony's host Nick Jonas was joined on stage by his siblings and Jonas Brothers bandmates, Nick and Kevin, for a high-energy performance.

The trio had the audience on their feet and dancing as they sang 'Leave Before You Love Me' - on which they were joined by Marshmellow - followed by a series of huts including 'Sucker', 'Only Human', 'What A Man Gotta Do' and their brand new song 'Remember This'.

Other notable performers included Alicia Keys, who marked the 20th anniversary of her debut album, 'Songs in A Minor', with a medley, which was introduced by Michelle Obama.

The former First Lady said in a video introduction: "This young singer was taking us to church and to the symphony and to a candlelit dinner and couples therapy and everywhere else, all in a little more than three minutes. I knew right there that wouldn't be the last we hear from Alicia Keys."

BTS gave the debut performance of their new song 'Butter', as part of a successful evening for the K-pop group, who took home four awards, while Doja Cat ans SZA were backed by a group of dancers for a dazzling performance of their track 'Kiss Me More'.
