Pink was unsure about having children.
The 33-year-old singer has two-year-old daughter Willow with husband Carey Hart and although Carey was always determined to have kids, Pink wasn't so sure but now counts motherhood as "more important than anything".
She told the August 2013 issue of GQ Australia: "I had moments where I wanted a kid with Carey. You know - you fall in love and you're like, 'We should have kids,' and then it went away.
"But he always wanted kids and then we did it and now it's like, 'F**k this is so rad.' It's more important than anything we've done."
Pink is besotted with her daughter and loves nothing more than to start her day with a hug from Willow, which she calls "the best thing in the world".
She said: "She's the coolest thing that has ever happened to me - she's really f***ing cheeky and funny. Now I have someone to sing goofy-ass songs to all day and she likes it. She's not judging me. She's probably the only person who doesn't judge me."
Despite her huge success, Pink insists fame hasn't changed her.
She explained: "My life hasn't changed that much. I mean, I could do without the paparazzi taking photos of my child. But I tour, I write songs, I go through the same s**t as everybody else.
"I've never enveloped myself in that, 'I'm a f***ing rockstar, I'm important,' thing. I don't get it - either you're a good person or you're not."
