Phillip Schofield is allergic to wasp and bee stings.
The 'This Morning' presenter will have to be extra careful on his summer holiday this year as he has revealed he's developed a "serious" hypersensitivity to the insects.
Speaking on the brunchtime show on Friday (15.07.16), he told his co-stars Holly Willoughby and Ryan Clark-Neal: "I'm allergic to wasps and bee stings."
Phillip's allergy is so bad that he now has to carry an Epipen - a medical device used for injecting a measured dose of adrenaline - in case he gets struck by the insects and goes into a potentially fatal anaphylactic shock.
The 54-year-old host explained: "If I get stung, I fall over and shake a lot, I have to carry an Epipen now. It's quite serious."
Meanwhile, the silver fox is no doubt stressing about his allergy even more at the moment as he and his co-star Holly are set to jet abroad together with their families next week.
And Phillip isn't the only one with an anxiety on his mind as the 35-year-old blonde bombshell is fretting about flying.
However, her phobia has been eased slightly after speaking with therapists Nik and Eva Speakman - known collectively as The Speakmans - earlier this week.
She said: "After they asked those obvious questions, it wasn't the plane's fault - it got me down safely, it did its job. It was me that pegged on that I was going to die. I could feel a switch in my head go. I am flying very soon, so I guess that's the ultimate test. I'm already feeling a bit better about it. I'm a little bit apprehensive, but I'm fine."
