Peter Andre has vowed to marry Emily MacDonagh.
The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer - who has children Junior, eight, and Princess, six, with ex-wife Katie Price - is planning to propose to his pregnant girlfriend because they are "perfect" for one another.
He said: "I will do the honourable thing, not because it's the right thing to do but because we love each other and because we are just perfect for each other."
And though he has no plans to pop the question just yet, Emily admits she will accept when he eventually asks, though she doesn't think marriage will change their relationship.
She told the new edition of Britain's OK! magazine: "Of course I'd say yes. I wouldn't even have to think about it. We're so happy together that if it doesn't happen tomorrow, it doesn't matter, as I know it will happen one day and it will be lovely.
"I'm looking forward to it but it won't change anything, it will just be the icing on the cake."
Peter and Emily's baby is due in February and they have decided not to find out the gender of the tot - meaning the medical student has had to turn away during her ultrasound scans so she didn't find out.
She said: "I said to the nurse: 'I've just done this module at uni, so tell me not to look when we come to that bit!' "
And Emily insists having a baby won't stop her pursing a medical career.
She said: "I'm going to defer a year. I've done five years already and I have one more left, so I'll go back next September, sit my finals in December and then start working.
"My career is so important and my proudest achievement so far. I'm just taking some time out."
