The 43-year-old TV presenter - who is best known for his 1996 hit single 'Mysterious Girl' and the accompanying video, in which he parades around topless in the sea showing off his ripped body - has admitted he no longer feels confident stripping off his top in public any more.
speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz about his fear, the dark haired hunk said: "I'm not much of a shirt taker offer. I'm not into it. Maybe I'm getting a bit shy!"
Despite this the star is still in peak physical condition, although he has revealed he hasn't achieved his figure by dieting because he "loves" to eat.
He explained: "I don't diet, I like to eat. I have to exercise though. I feel better than I ever have done in my life."
While Peter - who has three kids including daughter Amelia, two, with his wife Emily MacDonagh who is expecting her second child with the musician, as well as son Junior, 10, and daughter Princess, eight, with his ex-wife Katie Price - is pleased with how he looks now, although he wants to look even better by the time he celebrates his 50th birthday.
The singer said: "I plan to be fit at 50. I want to do a proper photo shoot at 50. I've got to make sure I am fit at 50 though."
