Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh are planning a "traditional" English summer wedding although they won't be walking down the isle for a "couple of years".

The pair who welcomed a baby girl earlier this month want to solidify their relationship by walking down the aisle, and Pete intends to make it a classier ceremony than his lavish 2005 affair with Katie Price, which saw them arrive in a Barbie-style horse-drawn carriage.

Andre 43, explained: "It won't be for a couple of years. We're engaged and that solidifies our relationship, we love each other and know we want to be together.

"What I'd love is a very traditional, beautiful English cathedral. Very elegant. I don't want to say what I've done before is wrong, but I just want to look forward now."

However, the couple are likely to make the most of Pete's Greek heritage by throwing a wild bash in Cyprus, where his parents live.

He told OK! magazine: "Emily wants it to be English and Greek, but I'd love a traditional English wedding near Emily's family in Somerset and then a few days later we were flying out to Cyprus for a Greek wedding.

"Rather than doing Greek and English in one night, I love the thought of a classy and elegant English wedding and then we'll go to Cyprus and throw plates!"

The lovebirds also admitted they wanted a summer wedding and intend for their new baby and Pete's children with Katie - Princess Tiaamii, 10, and Junior, eight - to play a big part in the ceremony.

Pete added: "I don't know, but Princess would have to be a flower girl, as well as our new little girl! If we do it in two years, all three kids could walk with us, which would be so special."
