The Little Mix star also insinuated her ex-fiance is a "d**k" during an interview when the girl group were asked to explain the meaning behind a "naughty" line in their new track 'Hair'.

Clarifying the lyric "Cause he was just a d**k and I knew it", fellow singer Jade Thirlwall said first: "Well you know sometimes when you break-up with someone they are 'that' word? So it's alright to say in a song."

But Perrie quickly chipped in, saying: "Yeah it is. He was just a bell**d and I knew it."

The blonde beauty wouldn't name drop her partner of four years - who dumped her by text just months after they began the search for their marital home - but her message was clear.

Meanwhile, Zayn has reportedly been texting his ex-fiancee to tell her he loves her.

It's claimed the former One Direction singer - who left the band in March - has been sending the Little Mix star messages to say that he misses her, even though he's been linked to Burberry model Neelam Gill and popstar Rita Ora since the split.

An insider revealed: "Zayn has started messaging Perrie again saying he misses and still loves her.

"Although Perrie is trying to be strong and move on, it's obvious to everyone around her she's still in love with Zayn. Seeing him with other women is killing her."
