Perrie Edwards loves being sick - because she gets spoiled by her mother.
The Little Mix singer - who is engaged to One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik - admits being ill in bed has its perks as her mother always makes her the centre of attention.
Perrie, 20, revealed: "I love being poorly, then it's all about me and everyone feels sorry for me - I love that.
"I'll be in bed covered in blankets watching Disney Channel and my mum will come in with soup. You don't get a lot of sleep in this industry so when you're ill, that's your only chance."
While she loves being pampered by her mum, the blonde beauty thinks isn't one for being spoiled by fiancé Zayn and believes it's important for any relationship to have an element of surprise.
She told Bliss magazine: "It gets a bit much when they're too nice. I like a man to keep me on my toes and still be kind-hearted."
The couple announced their engagement in August and are reportedly set to get married in a lavish £1.5 million ceremony next year.
Perrie showed off her engagement ring at the premiere of One Direction's movie 'This Is Us' in London, but she says it wasn't a conscious choice to go public.
She explained: "To be honest, I didn't even think about it. I get scared at red carpets in case I fall over and I didn't want to do that with the ring."
