Perrie Edwards cried while watching One Direction's 'Story of My Life' video.

The Little Mix star was overtaken with emotion when she watched the promo - which also stars her fiancé Zayn Malik and has snap shots of the band members' lives - that she rushed downstairs to call her mother, Deborah Duffy, so she could share the experience with her.

Perrie told Entertainmentwise.com: "Oh my God, have you seen the video? I watched it once, I cried my eyes out. I watched it again because it was that amazing, I cried.

"I went downstairs [and said], 'Mum, you need to watch this video,' she was like 'What's the matter?' I was like, 'It's the new 1D video you need to watch it.' Me and my mum just sat there blubbering together, crying."

The 20-year-old beauty thinks the footage was "beautifully executed" and makes Zayn and his bandmates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne "look amazing."

The song was released on October 28 and the video features some the band's family members recreating memories which were previously captured in photos.

She added: "It's so beautiful, it's so beautifully executed. Ben [Winston], who filmed it and stuff, he's so talented and the boys just look amazing in it. It's the best video I've ever seen, I love it. I'm a bit biased I know but it is amazing."
