Jermaine Jackson has suggested that Paris Jackson does not respect authority.
The 58-year-old singer believes that the 15-year-old aspiring actress, who recently attempted suicide, needs to learn to follow the rules set by her guardians, despite conceding that she was hit the hardest by the death of her father, Michael Jackson, in 2009.
Asked whether he agreed with his nephew T.J. Jackson that Paris has suffered the most since the King of Pop's death, Jermaine told gossip website TMZ.com: "Yeah, but still she has to know that there are certain guidelines when you grow up being a teenager. There are rules."
Paris, who is still being treated in hospital in Los Angeles, allegedly took 20 painkillers and slashed her wrists last month after being told that she could not attend a Marilyn Manson concert.
Jermaine hinted that he doesn't blame Paris, and suggested her guardians T.J. and grandmother Katherine are responsible, adding: "I just think that ... things could have been enforced a little stronger."
T.J, previously indicated that Paris has been depressed since Michael's death, saying: "Paris has a heart of gold. I just think the loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level. She's in a tough spot, but we're all loving her and doing everything we can to get her where she should be.
"It's tough. She was daddy's girl. My uncle was her world."
