Paris Jackson tried to commit suicide after reportedly being denied the chance to attend a Marilyn Manson gig.
A source told Entertainment Tonight the 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson attempted to take her life yesterday (05.06.13) after being told she would not be able to go to the 'Dope Show' hitmaker's concert at the Gibson Amphitheater with Alice Cooper tonight (06.06.13).
Other reports have alleged Paris "flipped out" and screamed at the relative who stopped her seeing the goth rocker, and it is claimed she then locked herself in her bedroom at her Calabasas, California home and cut her arm before leaving a note and ringing a suicide hotline.
Paris' mother Debbie Row - who was spotted speaking to police on Wednesday outside her Palmdale ranch in California - confirmed the suicide bid, saying her daughter has had "a lot going on lately".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was the usual teenage stuff about where Paris was allowed to go and what she could wear. But it must have pushed her to breaking point.
"She has suffered terrible bullying recently. All the allegations about Michael abusing children have been back in the news, plus details of his drug use and even questions about whether he is the kids' biological father.
"Paris was also due to give evidence at her dad's wrongful death trial. It has all taken its toll."
Last night, Paris' grandmother Katherine Jackson - who she has reportedly rowed with in recent weeks - said her granddaughter was "physically fine" following the suicide attempt.
She said in a statement: "Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention.
"Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.
"Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy."
The incident came shortly after Paris posted a series of dark messages on Twitter, including: "I wonder why tears are salty?"
She later added: "Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay. (sic)"
Paris has recently begun developing a relationship with Debbie, Michael's ex-wife, who relinquished her custody rights to Paris and Prince following her divorce from the 'Bad' singer in 1999.
The Jackson family are currently embroiled in a high-profile court case after filing a wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoters AEG Live.
Michael's mother Katherine Jackson claims the promoters, who were behind the 50-date London residency he was preparing for at the time of his death in June 2009, were negligent in hiring disgraced physician Conrad Murray to supervise the 'Thriller' singer's medical care.
Murray was convicted of manslaughter after delivering a lethal dose of Propofol which killed the superstar.
