Paolo Nutini has been arrested for drink driving.
The 'Pencil Full of Lead' singer was pulled over by police in his hometown of Paisley in Scotland and charged for traffic offences on Tuesday night (21.02.17)
When he was breathalysed for alcohol consumption, Paolo is alleged to have tested to be over the legal limit.
A police spokeswoman told The Daily Record newspaper: "We can confirm that a 30-year-old man was arrested in Paisley on Tuesday in connection with alleged road traffic offences. A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
Paolo was released on an undertaking to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
Paulo's last album release was 2014's acclaimed 'Caustic Love' and although he has not got a new LP out he is due to embark on a tour of Central and South America in April with dates in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
