Paloma Faith is feeling "excited" about giving birth.

The 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' hitmaker admits she is thrilled that she is nearly at the end of her pregnancy as she is enjoying having something to "look forward to and focus on".
Writing on her Instagram page, she shared: "It’s starting to take its toll on everyone now I think. Gone are the weekend Zoom parties, the motivation to write, to paint, to think, to compose, to touch base with friends. It’s all a bit flat. So many people have been lost and so many parents are now ready to be qualified as teachers hahahaha (but not Hahahahah). I am very close to the end with my pregnancy now and it actually feels exciting, so I’m very fortunate to have something to look forward to and focus on. What’s kept me going is all of you who have shown so much appreciation for my album. It really is special to me and my personal fave record I’ve worked on. So thanks. I can’t wait to play them all live for you at the end of the year when better days are on their way! Until then though, remember that waking up and getting out of bed is an achievement so don’t beat yourselves up. All my heart, Paloma x (sic)"
Meanwhile, the 39-year-old singer recently said she is feeling so much anxiety about the world around her that she’s refused to go outside until she’s given birth.
She said: "My anxiety is through the roof ... Some people I knew approached me in the park yesterday as I was taking my little one for a walk for some exercise and I felt like I was going to break down into tears begging them not to come near as I scrambled to put both our masks on. They were so kind and empathetic and kept away but I vowed that would be the last time I step outside my house again until the baby is born."
