Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr
Orlando Bloom says he still loves wife Miranda Kerr.
It was revealed last month that the couple are going their separate ways after marrying in 2010.
Bloom and Kerr reportedly split six months ago, but are remaining on very good terms for the sake of their young son. And Bloom says that they intend to keep it that way.
Speaking to Katie Couric on her talk show the actor said: "We love each other. We're a family. We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives.
"There's no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn."
Bloom began dating Kerr in late 2007 before announcing that they were engaged in the summer of 2010; they married a month later.
They have one son together, Flynn was born in January 2011.
"You know, life sometimes doesn't work out exactly as we plan or hope for, but fortunately, we're both adults, and we're professionals, and we love and care about each other. And we, most of all, love our son."
