The 38-year-old actor has sold his three-bedroom apartment in New York - which he bought six months ago - because the 25-year-old singer moved into the penthouse suite within the same block recently and became a "paparazzi magnet", due to the 'Style' hitmaker throwing so many celebrity parties, including her birthday, which Jay-Z, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake attended.
The 'Lord of the Rings' star is famous for being a fan of his privacy, but, luckily, he was able to make a $500,000 profit on the sale of his flat.
A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Orlando bought the flat, but then Taylor bought the penthouse and began throwing parties with guests such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake. The building became a paparazzi magnet.
"There were always cameras and fans outside. Orlando values his privacy so decided to sell up and move on."
Taylor's flat isn't going to be losing attention any time soon either, as her boyfriend Calvin Harris is currently there babysitting her cats Meredith Gray and Olivia Benson, while she's on her worldwide '1989' tour.
A source previously said: "Add cat baby sitter to Calvin's duties as boyfriend. He brought it up to Taylor that he would be happy to watch her cats while she is away, so she took him up on it. So you will probably see Calvin in New York a lot more without her."
