Orlando Bloom has raved about kissing his 'Romeo & Juliet' co-star Condola Rashad, just hours after announcing his split from wife Miranda Kerr.
The 36-year-old actor failed to mention the breakdown of his three-year marriage to Miranda Kerr while appearing on 'Live with Kelly and Michael', but chose to describe what it's like to lock lips with Condola Rashad on the set of the Shakespearean tale instead.
He said: "We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on. Sometimes I'm like, 'I'm not letting go'."
Meanwhile, Orlando and Miranda - who began dating in 2007 - admitted they have been separated for the past few months, but insist they will continue to support each other in the raising of their two-year-old son, Flynn.
Orlando's spokesperson said this morning (25.10.13): "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.
"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
The news comes just weeks after Miranda gushed about her estranged husband's stage presence in 'Romeo & Juliet'.
She said: "When I saw Orlando on Broadway in 'Romeo and Juliet', I was blown away, For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week - I have so much respect for him."
