Liam Payne has vowed that One Direction won't "be going anywhere for a while".
The 21-year-old singer - who stars in the group alongside Harry Styles, 21, Louis Tomlinson, 23, and Niall Horan, 21 - has revealed that the chart-topping band have recently started recording their new album and are looking forward to spending more time together on the road.
Speaking earlier today (06.06.15) at Capital's Summertime Ball with Vodafone at London's Wembley Stadium, Liam dismissed suggestions the band intends to take a break in 2016, telling BANG Showbiz: "We don't know where this has come from because we have loads of stuff going on.
"We've just started the process of recording the new album, there's a whole new tour going on. There's some really, really great songs, so I don't think we'll be going anywhere for a while. So I don't know where that has brewed from."
Liam also explained why the band didn't perform any of their new material during their show at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium last night (05.06.15).
He shared: "We've just been rehearsing new songs so we're taking a bit of time, we want to get it right. We want to get its right emotion and then it'll come out in the next few weeks."
