One Direction are going to juggle recording with touring as they plan to make their new album in a mobile studio.
Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are keen to get back into the studio to work on a fourth album, and look set to begin work on the record while on the road next summer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "One Direction will travel with their own studio in tow when they play stadium dates.
"It's going to cost a few quid but then, considering the amount of cash they're making on the tour, they can afford it.
"The boys are all writing more and more themselves these days so it will allow them to develop as songwriters.
"Because of the shows across the globe they'll have no time out to record so this is the best way to get the fourth album done."
The band released their second album Take Me Home last year, with the third album set to drop in November.
The album will be called Midnight Memories and is already expected to be one of the biggest sellers of the year.
