One Direction get bombarded by flying iPhones when they perform on stage.
The boy band have revealed that their fans hurl the strangest items at them during their concerts, including the expensive Apple devices, much to their bewilderment.
In a joint 1D interview on 'This Morning', Louis Tomlinson, 23, said: "It does baffle me because there's a lot of things that get thrown.
"Actually more often than not there is iPhones thrown on (stage) and you can just imagine these kids' parents when they get home, 'Where's your iPhone?' 'Oh I threw it on stage at the people I'm there to support.' "
Niall Horan, 22, also quipped: "I love you but here is a phone to the head."
However, the guys insist phones are not the most unusual thing they have had hurled at them.
Recalling another odd missile, Liam Payne, 22, recalled: "Remember when I got hit on the head with a Terry's Chocolate Orange?"
Liam also revealed his least favourite object to be hit by, adding: "I tell you one thing I don't like is coins because they hurt."
However, Harry Styles, 21, disagreed, jokingly saying: "That's not that bad. I made £1.70 at the last concert."
Liam understands the 'Directioners' are just trying to get their attention and revealed what tactic is actually most likely to catch the guys' eyes on stage.
He said: "I think they do it to try and get our attention sometimes but there's better way to do it then throw things at us. Funky signs man. I love a good sign."
One Direction have just released their fifth album, 'Made in the A.M.', ahead of their hiatus and Liam insists the group - who used to count Zayn Malik as a member - wanted to release it as a thank you to their millions of loyal fans across the world.
He said: "Please enjoy this album. We pretty much say this every time but it's all for you guys."
