Olly Murs thinks of himself as DILF now

The 40-year-old pop star became a father for the first time in April when his wife Amelia, 31, gave birth to their daughter Madison and after speaking to comedian Joel Dommett - who has 10-month-old Wilde with his wife Hannah Cooper - and fitness instructor Joe Wicks, admitted that they all still feel sexy at this stage in life.

He told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "I was chatting today with Joel, whose baby is ten months old, and Joe, who has a six- week-old.

“I’m sort of in that ballpark now. We’re like a little DILF club.”

The term 'DILF' is an alternative version of 'MILF', which originated in the 1999 comedy 'American Pie' in which 'White Lotus' star Jennifer Coolidge played the attractive mother of teenager Steve Stifler whom his peers have a crush on.

The 'Troublemaker' singer revealed just before his daughter was born that he was still keen to pursue music as a career but was going to be taking some time off while adjusted to the life change.

He said: " still have goals I want to achieve but sometimes you have to step back and think, ‘What’s important?’.

"For me, that’s being there for Amelia.

“I have been with her every step during this pregnancy.

"I feel being present in my wife’s life while she’s having a baby is really important to me and her.”

Just after the arrival of his little girl Olly shared a photo on Instagram of the new parents walking down a hospital corridor holding hands, with the star carrying a car seat.

He wrote: "Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x (sic)"

Fans and famous friends were quick to flood the post with congratulatory messages, with Vicky Pattison and Laura Whitmore among them.

JLS singer Aston Merrygold replied: "Congratulations guys! Let the fun begin."

Olly's 'The Voice' co-star Emma Willis added: "Congratulations you gorgeous pair."

And pop star Craig David commented: "Congratulations. Sending you all so much love."
