The 'King' singer, like the majority of the pair's fans, is thrilled the former Girls Aloud star had got together with the One Direction heartthrob and he really hopes things work out for them.
Speaking on the Capital London Breakfast Show with Dave Berry about the exciting new romance, he said: "I love it! I hope everything is OK, I send them all the best."
Olly is looking to get close to Cheryl himself - not in a romantic way but as her fellow judge on 'The X Factor'.
When asked if he'd be interested in taking a job on Simon Cowell's TV show, he answered: "Why not? Any chance to be next to Cheryl I'll take!"
As much as he is fan of Cheryl's, the pop star is also an admirer of Ellie Goulding and he was delighted he got the chance to hang out with her at last month's BRIT Awards.
Olly also got introduced to Ellie's friend, former Victoria's Secret Angel Karlie Kloss, and admits he felt very small next to the statuesque model.
Recalling his night of partying following the bash, he shared: "At the after-party, Ellie and Karlie were there. I know Ellie a little bit so I said hi. They are all about 6ft tall so hanging out with them was very overwhelming!"
