Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are expecting their first child.
The couple, who got engaged in January, are said to be "very excited" to be preparing to welcome a baby into the world next year.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news that Olivia was pregnant.
Olivia 29, first met the 38-year-old Jason on the season finale of 'Saturday Night Live' in 2011 and they began dating six months later.
Earlier this year, Olivia gushed about her desire to start a family with her fiance suggesting three would be good.
She said at the time: "He's so good with kids. I'm open-minded about how many, but three is like a little party."
The couple are set to marry in New York City next spring.
The former 'House' star Olivia was previously married to Italian prince Tao Ruspoli for eight years until 2011, this is also Jason's second time down the aisle as he was married to Kay Cannon for six years until 2010.
