Miss Universe 2012 Olivia, 23, reportedly dumped the 28-year-old former professional American footballer because he refused to have sex, according to the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column.
Tim is a devout Christian and has vowed to abstain from sex until marriage but Olivia wasn't happy having a chaste relationship.
A source told Confidenti@l: "He was really into her. He was sending her love letters and cute notes and professing his love for her.
"She had to break up with him because she just couldn't handle it. He still hits her up, but she just can't deal with the sex thing. He's pretty adamant about it, I guess."
The pair had been dating for two months when they called things off.
Olivia previously dated Nick Jonas, who, along with his siblings, was famous for wearing a purity ring and vowing to remain celibate until marriage during their time as Disney stars in The Jonas Brothers band.
However, Nick, 23, stopped wearing the ring a few years ago and admitted he had changed his views.
He said: "I think as I grew up, I sort of figured out what was important to me and my own belief system. We all grow up and we all live life and find out what's important to us, that's what happened.
"I went on that journey myself and I'm now comfortable with who I am and what I believe in and I'm an adult in all ways."
