Norman Reedus doesn't mind filming in the nude.
The 48-year-old actor - who plays Daryl Dixon in 'The Walking Dead' - feels "weird" wearing a modesty sock on his manhood so he'd rather not bother because he finds them "ridiculous".
He said: "You know, the thing is, they give you this little sock to wear. And you feel weirder with the sock on, you know?"
Further probed about the socks, and whether they are available to buy online, he told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "Probably. You know, I did a movie in a shower and they gave me one to wear, and in the middle of the take I just ripped it off and threw it at the director's head because I was like, 'This is ridiculous.' "
But Norman admitted he shocked the crew on the zombie drama when he dropped his robe for the first time - and his decision to go fully nude has made him and his make-up artist a lot closer.
He joked: "On 'The Walking Dead', I came out in a bathrobe, and our poor camera crew were all right here. And I just dropped the robe and I was just butt naked, and they all were like they were watching Wimbledon: They just looked to the left. I have this make-up artist, Addison, who had to sort of...dirty me, in areas. So we became very close by the end of the day."
Norman previously spoke about how much respect he has for his co-star Andrew Lincoln.
He continued: "Andrew is the first one to set; he's the last one to leave. He's our actors' quarterback. And he's the screamer on set ... he gets everyone pumped up. I can't say enough good things about him. He deserves all of this."
