Noel Gallagher dedicated a song to Frances Bean Cobain at his Los Angeles show on Wednesday (20.05.15).
The former Oasis star - who is currently on tour with his band High Flying Birds in the United States - performed at the Orpheum Theatre and dedicated a song to the daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
Frances - who recently produced the documentary 'Cobain: Montage of Heck' about her father, who committed suicide aged 27 - posted a photo from backstage where she met the 'Some Might Say' hitmaker after the show.
Alongside the image, she wrote: "What did you do tonight? @NoelGallagher thank you so much for hanging out&the song dedication & being all around rad!(sic)"
Frances - whose mother is Hole singer Courtney Love -declared her love for the Britpop legends in an interview where she admitted she preferred them over her Dad's former band.
She said at the time: "I don't really like Nirvana that much. Sorry, promotional people, Universal. I'm more into Mercury Rev, Oasis, Brian Jonestown Massacre. The grunge scene is not what I'm interested in."
Although she did say Nirvana's 'Territorial Pissings' is "a fucking great song"
