Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are now engaged, after dating for the past six months.
Multiple sources have confirmed the news after the actor proposed to his 10-years-younger girlfriend.
Speaking to E! News one insider confirmed: "They're so happy. They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right."
After only three weeks of dating the pair moved in with one another and their relationship began to gain some serious traction.
Recently the two were spotted in a jewellery store in Los Angeles, looking at engagement rings.
HollywoodLife.com heard from an eyewitness: "They were absolutely adorable [inside the jewellery store] and you could tell they are very much in love. Nikki was pointing out items for Ian and vice versa. They looked at some engagement rings, including a 14k gold diamond slice halo ring and an 18k gold green halo diamond ring - both designed by Livin, and an 18k large chocolate diamond ring by White Cloud."
Their engagement news comes shortly after Reed finalised her divorce settlement from singer/songwriter Paul McDonald.
The pair married in California in October 2011 following a whirlwind romance, but things ended just under three years later when Reed cited irreconcilable differences and filed for divorce.
