The 42-year-old reality star has been married to Joel Madden since 2010 and already has daughter Harlow, 16, and 14-year-old son Sparrow with him but admitted that because there are "so many babies" around at the minute, she is not quite ready to get pregnant again but did not rule the idea out completely.
Asked if she has any plans for more children she told E! News: "There's so many new babies coming! Should I have another one? Today, I do not. But ask me next week. I might feel left out, you never know."
The 'Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead' actress has just become an aunt to Cardinal through Joel's brother Benji Madden and his wife Cameron Diaz and she noted that her nephew was "just the cutest" new addition to the family.
Meanwhile, Nicole - who is the adoptive daughter of 'Hello' singer Lionel Richie - is set to become an aunt again when her sister Sofia, 25, welcomes her first baby with Elliot Grainge later this year and cannot wait for the new arrival.
She said: "I'm so excited I can't even stand it!"
Lionel - who also has son Miles, 29, with ex-wife Diane Alexander - recently admitted that he "freaked out" when he learned that his youngest is expecting her first baby.
He told US TV show 'Extra': "I’m watching my baby having a baby. Yikes! I mean, that just kind of freaked me out a little bit. But at the same time, Elliot and Sofia are such a force. This little baby is gonna be souped up like you’ve never seen before. It’s amazing."
