Nick Lachey has vowed to work even harder on 'Dancing With the Stars'.
The 98 Degrees star admits it was a "wake-up call" for himself and professional partner Peta Murgatroyd to find themselves in the bottom two alongside eliminated Debbie Gibson and Alan Bersten, but he is hoping things will be different next week.
He told 'Extra' presenter Mark Wright: "It's a little bit of a wake-up call but you know what, you think you've been going 100%, maybe you've only been going 70%, [so we'll be bringing] 100% next week and let's knock next week out of the park."
And Nick admitted he can't compare to wife Vanessa and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
He said: "They are on fire right now."
Nick admitted it was very "tense" waiting to find out who host Tom Bergeron would announce had been eliminated from the competition.
He explained: "I've been in the position of Tom, where you're hosting a show like that, and it's live, and they're telling you to take these dramatic pauses.
"I was watching his mouth to see if the letter N was going to hit his lips, because I didn't know how it would end up. It was definitely a tense moment. I'm obviously thrilled that we get another chance to come back and do it again this week."
And though the 43-year-old singer's schedule is set to be busier than ever as he needs to start rehearsals for 98 Degrees' upcoming tour, but he insists he's happy to be juggling multiple projects.
He told Cincinnati.com: "The guys are coming out here to LA, so I'm going to be in rehearsal for ['DWTS' in one part of the day and rehearsal with the guys the other part. It will be busy, but that's the kind of life I've chosen to take on.
"I don't want to go home. I don't think any of us want to go home. We're all there because we want to compete, and we want to win this thing. I'm in it to win it, as is Vanessa."
