Nick Gordon admitted in his interview with Dr. Phil McGraw that he is scared he could lose Bobbi Kristina Brown, after being left devastated when his girlfriend's mother Whitney Houston passed away three years ago.
Insisting he's done everything in his power to "protect" Bobbi since that time, he's distraught that Bobbi was found earlier this year unresponsive in a bathtub, with the youngster now in a medically-induced coma following the tragic January 31 event.
In a new clip from the Dr. Phil interview, Nick says: "I lost the most legendary singer ever and I'm scared to lose Krissy. I want to let all you guys know I did everything possible in the world to protect them."
The interview airs in full in America today and will see Nick seeming panicked and uneasy throughout, no more so than when the host gives him some advice to "man up" and check himself into rehab with the help of the show.
"I've been so strong for so many people for so long, so please don't tell me to man up", Nick replies, but since the programme was recorded, Nick has checked into an unnamed treatment facility.
An earlier clip from the interview saw Nick state that he 'hates' Bobbi's father Bobby Brown, despite missing his girlfriend and her mother "so bad".
The show was recently slammed by Bobbi's aunt Leolah Brown who said Nick is being investigated for "attempted murder", and the show could interfere with the police investigations.
