Nick Cannon wants to teach his daughter that self-confidence is attractive.
The 35-year-old star - who has five-year-old Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey - is keen to instil a sense of self-worth in his little girl.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "[I want to teach her that being attractive] is just about self-esteem. It's about understanding who you are and your own culture."
And Nick - who also has five-year-old son Moroccan with the 'Without You' hitmaker - says his primary concern is his children.
He said previously: "There's nothing to tell ... me and Mariah get along great, and it's a process, nobody is holding nothing up. Why would I hold it up? I want her to be happy. She is such a beautiful spirit, and we put the kids first."
However, Nick recently insisted he isn't ready to date anyone else just yet.
He said: "I haven't figured it out yet. I just don't think I'm ready to date yet. It's funny because my next film that I'm writing is all about online dating so I'm learning all about it. It's so intriguing to me but I have yet jump into that pool. But it's the new wave so I'm not against it.
"I don't know if I would say it was hard. It's more of just adjusting and adapting, as we all do as we get older. You're living life. I have really learned to value private time, I've been deep in meditation and getting to know myself."
And whilst Nick is slowly moving on, Mariah will "always be the love of his life".
He explained: "It's one of those things, I'm a hopeless romantic too. Through this learning process, you never say never. To me one thing I know, that will always be the love of my life, always be my family and that's never going to change.
"It's extremely disappointing when you see that people just want to perpetuate negativity when there is no negativity even involved."
