Niall Horan has hinted Liam Payne is "nervous" about fatherhood.

The 23-year-old singer - who started dating the former Girls Aloud band member, Cheryl Cole, last year - is believed to be expecting his first child with the 33-year-old musician, although neither have officially confirmed the pregnancy, and Liam's One Direction band mate believes his colleague will no doubt be apprehensive about becoming a parent, although he hasn't actually said to Niall how he feels.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about the couple and the speculation Cheryl is expecting a baby, Niall said: "I'm looking forward to it.
"Liam hasn't said he's nervous but I'm sure he is. I bet he can't wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life."
And the blonde haired hunk - who made up part of the 'History' hitmaker's alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - has hinted he thinks the pair makes a great couple.
He said: "He's great and she's lovely, it will be a lovely child. They are in love."
Although the 'Fight For This Love' is keeping her cards close to her chest with regards to starting a family, the couple did set tongues wagging in November last year when they attended a carol service together and a burgeoning bump could be seen, and a video on Cheryl's Instagram account , which has since been removed, appeared to show her changing shape.
