Naomi Osaka has joined the VS Collective.
The 24-year-old tennis champion has become the latest big-name star to join the Victoria's Secret brand, which is seeking to drive positive change for women around the globe.
Naomi told WWD: "After learning and understanding about VS’s vision for the Collective, I was inspired to join these amazing women.
"I remember going into [Victoria’s Secret] stores when I was a kid and wondering why none of the women on the wall looked like me. Now, as a collective, we can inspire the next generation from all different backgrounds, cultures and sizes. That represents such progress to me."
Naomi is one of the best-known female athletes in the world, and she's now following in the footsteps of people like Priyanka Chopra and Valentina Sampaio in lending her support to the campaign.
Martin Waters, the chief executive officer of Victoria’s Secret, previously explained that the company is "on an incredible journey to become the world’s leading advocate for women".
He added: "This is a dramatic shift for our brand, and it’s a shift that we embrace from our core. These new initiatives are just the beginning. We are energised and humbled by the work ahead of us."
Meanwhile, Priyanka previously revealed that she joined the campaign in a bid to help all Victoria's Secret customers "feel represented".
The 39-year-old actress wants women around the world to feel as though "they belong".
She said: "A new era always brings a sense of freedom, and the opportunity to play a part in shaping the evolution and future success of a heritage brand like Victoria’s Secret is so exciting to me.
"As we work together to chart the path forward in a new and impactful way, I’m not only looking forward to developing future collections that are inclusive of all people, but I am most excited for new customers and for those who have always been a customer of Victoria’s Secret to feel represented and like they belong."
