Myleene Klass says being single is a very "liberating" experience.
The musician and TV star is not dating anyone at the moment and although she is still open to meeting her 'Mr. Right' she is enjoying having complete freedom to do what she wants and what's best for her two daughters Ava, 6, and 3 year old Hero, her children with ex-husband Graham Quinn.
When asked if she is currently dating anyone, she said: "I love being single, I love the independence I have. Every choice I make in the morning is my own and of course my first thought is always for my children. It's very liberating feeling actually."
Myleene's dad has been taking an interest in her love life and recently quizzed her and he saw a photograph of her out with a mystery man.
However, her father was disappointed to learn the guy was actually the 'Loose Women' star's long-time friend Bradley Taylor.
Speaking at The 2014 Radio Academy Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday night, she added: "We did a family summit, my dad was like who is the new guy? He saw a photograph of me with someone I was spotted out with last week. Even my dad is getting involved in it all. He was like, 'So tell me about the new guy?' I said, 'Oh my god it's just my friend Bradley, who you've met about 300 times at my house!' He was disappointed ... My dad's been through it all with me, my dad's just going at the pace I'm going at. I think he's just sharing an interest, to be on top of things (with me)."
Myleene was a guest at the prestigious event and was joined on the red carpet by Mel C, 'Downton Abbey' actress Elizabeth McGovern, Marvin Humes and former Westlife star Kian Egan among others.
Winners on the night included veteran DJ Tony Blackburn, who was honoured with The Gold Award and Jamie Cullum who took home a Radio Academy Gold prize in the Best Music Programme category.
