'London Fields' starring Amber Heard and Johnny Depp will be released this year.
It's believed the movie sparked the breakdown of their marriage after Depp reportedly flew into a jealous rage over Heard's scenes with Billy Bob Thornton and accidently cut off his fingertip.
Heard - who accused him of domestic assault - alleged in her case against him that the incident occurred in March 2015 when the couple had a huge argument at a villa in Australia.
It has been claimed that during the row, Johnny "smashed several bottles and windows and also slammed a plastic phone against the wall unit".
She also reportedly claimed that Johnny then dipped his injured finger in a pot of paint and used it to write words including "Billy Bob" and "Easy Amber" on the wall after accusing her of sleeping with Billy Bob Thornton, which she denied.
Depp appears in the movie for about 18 minutes, while Thornton plays a terminally ill author with writer's block and Heard his love interest.
It was due to be released last September but was pushed back because of a dispute between director Mathew Cullen and the editors.
Meanwhile, Heard, 30, was awarded $7 million from 53-year-old Depp in an out-of-court settlement.
'The Danish Girl' actress announced she would donate the full sum to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, however she later slammed 'The Pirates of the Carribean' star for directly sending "the first of multiple installments" to both organisations and benefitting from a charitable tax deduction.
She publicly urged Depp to double his donation.
Her representatives told TMZ: "If Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honour the full amount by donating $14M to charity, which after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7M payment obligation to Amber.
"We would also insist that the full amount be paid immediately and not drawn out over many years.
"Anything less would be a transparent attempt by Johnny's counsel, Laura Wasser and Patti Glaser, to reduce their client's true payment by half under the guise of newfound concern for charities that he has never previously supported."
