Mollie King is engaged.
The 33-year-old singer and radio presenter revealed the happy news after her partner, cricketer Stuart Broad, 34, popped the question on New Year's Day (01.01.21).
Mollie posted a picture of them kissing on Instagram and wrote: "A thousand times yes! I still can’t believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you @stuartbroad."
Stuart responded with a heart emoji.
And the couple's celebrity friends were quick to congratulate them with Mollie's fellow BBC radio presenter Clara Amfo writing: "It was our chat on the radio that did it innit?! congrats MK!" and Amy Dowden adding: "Massive congratulations both".
'Great British Bake Off' star Candice Brown said: "Ohhhhh lovely lady!!!! I’m so happy for you!!!! Congratulations", 'Queer Eye's Tan France wrote: "I AM OVER THE MOON FOR YOU, MY LOV" and Louise Thompson said: "Congratulations mollie".
Mollie and Stuart were first linked in March 2018, but split five months later in August 2018.
The reconciled in February 2019, and confirmed they were back together the following month.
The proposal comes just after Mollie admitted she was anxious about Stuart going to Sri Lanka for work.
She said: "So it's 2021! If you're anything like me you might be going into this year feeling a bit anxious and uncertain. I often get the January blues and this year is going to be especially tough with everything that's going on.
"@stuartbroad also goes away tomorrow with cricket which is always a mix of feeling excited for him but knowing I'm going to miss him so much."
