Teenager Ayen Alambat's story of the poorly-attended bash went viral on Twitter when she shared pictures of her brother Aaron's 12th birthday party, revealing he had invited eight of his classmates and none of them showed up to the celebration.

Having seen the original post, Millie - who stars as Eleven in the hit Netflix show - tweeted back: "What!!!! Oh Well You can let them all know that everyone on behalf on Stranger things would've come! I think your awesome and next year I would like an invite... Please? (sic)"

Ayen tweeted back: "YES MILLIE (sic)"

And the party now looks set to become a star-studded event as fellow 'Stranger Things' star Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on the show, also wants an invite.

He tweeted: "Count me in too! I'll bring the chocolate pudding (sic)"

Ayen's original tweet showed pictures of Aaron alone at his party with a 'Stranger Things' cake and decorations, as well as a T-shirt that read, "The world is turning Upside Down", and a full buffet table.

Aaron had also made red fruit punch labelled as "Demogorgon Blood", in reference to the monster in the hit sci-fi show.

Aven tweeted: "my brother invited 8 of his classmates for his stranger things themed bday party & none of their punk selves showed up (sic)"

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that the cast of 'Stranger Things' have negotiated massive pay rises for the third series of the show, which is set for release later this year.

Millie, 14, is reported to be raking in $350,000 for the next season - which is as much as her adult co-stars Winona Ryder and David Harbour.
