Millie Bobby Brown admits it was "strange" having her first kiss captured on camera.
The 13-year-old actress - who plays the mysterious Eleven in the Netflix series - locked lips with co-star Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, in the season one finale and the scripted moment was the closest she'd ever got to a guy.
She said: "It was a strange experience. Having 250 people looking at you kissing someone is like, 'Whoa!'"
Millie insists she was also Finn's first kiss, even though he says otherwise as she thinks he's played it down to look "cool".
She added in an interview with Variety: "He says I wasn't, but I definitely think I was. I think he was just trying to be cool."
The teenage actress has formed a very close bond with her young co-stars on the show.
She said: "I know the true boys, and they know the true me. We like to be as private as we can."
But she also enjoyed welcoming Sadie Sink, who plays Max, to the cast for the second season.
She said: "I loved having a new girl on the show, because it's nice not to be surrounded by boys."
Meanwhile, Millie isn't going to get too upset if she makes a mistake in public because she's still growing up.
She said: "To live in the moment and to make mistakes is a big part of being a person.
"I'm still just a kid. I'm 13, and making mistakes is OK."
And the actress has already set lines for herself that she won't cross for anyone.
She said: "I don't like showing off my ski.
"If I'm in a photo shoot and they're like, Can you wear a crop top? I'm like, 'No. No, not yet.' When that day comes I'm going to be, like, 18."
