Millie Bobby Brown has hit back at those who have criticised her "lovely" friendship with Drake.
The 'Stranger Things' star revealed last weekend that she and the 31-year-old rapper are in regular contact via text message and, although some fans think it's odd that they're so close considering their 17-year age gap, the teenager feels "blessed" to have him in her life.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 14-year-old actress fumed: "U guys are weird... for real.
"I'm lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I'm very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don't get to choose that for me. It's nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships... jeez. (sic)"
Millie met Drake in Australia last year and he's been helping her through her boy troubles since she split from her boyfriend Jacob Sartorius in July as well offering her advice on her career.
She said last week: "We just texted each other the other day and he was like: 'I miss you so much,' and I was like: 'I miss you more.' He's great."
Asked what they text about, she explained: "About boys, he helps me."
She added: "He's a great friend and a great role mode. I love him; I met him in Australia and he's honestly so fantastic."
The brunette star had been dating Jacob, 15, since the end of last year, but in matching Instagram Stories posted in July they revealed their romance had come to an end as they decided to "mutually" call it quits.
On Millie's account, she wrote in purple writing: "The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual. We are both happy and remaining friends."
