The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker is looking forward to heading home for the festive break and is ready to enjoy her favourite Christmas food.

She said: "I'm going to go home and just chill with my family. We just use it as an excuse to eat.

"When you're a kid the presents are so exciting, but as you get older its feels kind of odd that they're giving me presents, so then it's just an eating excuse."

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old star recently starred in Bill Murray's Netflix television special 'A Very Murray Christmas' and insists she had no hesitation in signing up.

She told MTV News: "Someone rang me up and said Bill Murray wants you to show up and sing some Christmas song with George Clooney.

"And I was like, 'OK, yeah, I'll be there.' And it was just so cool to kind of like bring my own style, it's so fantasy and fun. Honestly, I just wanted to be with Bill Murray."

Bill also has a lot of praise for the star, sharing previously: "Miley really just blew everyone away. I had no idea that she was that good, that talented. She can ask me anything any time. She really delivered the goods."
