Miley Cyrus has been cast in Woody Allen's new TV series.
The 23-year-old singer will star in the 80-year-old director's first ever television show, which is set in the Sixties, according to Deadline.
He has also cast Elaine May in another role on the Amazon series but details of the characters are being kept firmly under wraps.
Shooting is set to begin on the six half-hour episodes in the next few weeks, with Woody writing and directing each one.
While Miley's career is going from strength to strength, her personal life is also flourishing after she recently reconciled with her former fiance Liam Hemsworth, who she split from in 2013.
A source said: "Liam never stopped loving Miley. Liam and Miley's timing was just off the first time they were engaged, many things played into them calling it off. They both needed to grow up and figure themselves out more.
"Liam's family has always liked Miley but they supported Liam's decision at the time. They did feel that both of them were too young. They are in love and it's a different time now for them."
