Michelle Heaton has revealed that she is pregnant with a baby boy.
Heaton is expected her second child with husband Hugh Hanley; they pair are already parents to daughter Faith.
However this will be the last child that Heaton will have, as she is set to have an operation to remove her ovaries.
The singer was diagnosed with the mutated BRCA2 gene, which gives carriers a high chance of developing cancer. Heaton says that she had her husband are lucky with the children that they have.
Speaking to OK! magazine Heaton said: "I'm over the moon to be having a boy - which me and Hugh secretly wanted - but if I was going to have a third child there would be another two years of waiting before I could have my ovaries removed and that delay could eventually take me away from my children, so we won't be having any more. We've been lucky so far let's not try to be too greedy."
This is not the first operation that Heaton has had due to the BRCA2 gene as she has already had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery in 2012.
Heaton and Hanley married in summer 2010 and welcomed daughter Faith at the beginning of 2012.
