Michael Lohan has had his two youngest children removed by social services.
The 55-year-old patriarch and his 32-year-old wife Kate Major - who he wed just over a year ago - had their sons Landon, two and 10-month-old Logan placed into overnight foster care by the Florida Department of Children and Families after a video emerged of the couple having an "extreme argument" in front of the tots, according to TMZ.
After being cared for overnight, Michael's mother Marilyn Lohan flew in to take care of the kids, and is still looking after them.
However, Michael said: "Kate's had a major drinking and coke problem for quite a while.
"She got violent at times and they gave me custody of the kids at my house."
In April, Kate was arrested for drunkenly attacking Michael, and despite a 45-day stay in rehab their relationship continued to deteriorate when he learned of an affair she allegedly had with another patient.
The TV personality - who is famously the father of 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan as well as Ali Lohan, Ashley Horn, Cody Lohan and Michael Lohan Jr. - has revealed he is now looking to annul his marriage from Kate and is hoping his ex-wife Dina could care for the children.
He told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "We're technically still married and she started dating a guy in rehab.
"I confronted her and she denied it at first and then she admitted it.
"I think I have grounds for an annulment. As a matter of fact ... Dina said if anything happens she would be more than happy to take care of my kids for me. [The boys] are very close to Michael, Ali and Cody, and Lindsay [when she] was here."
