Lindsay Lohan's father is demanding to read an advance copy of his ex-wife's memoir.
Michael Lohan, refuses to sign-off on what Dina Lohan has written about him until he sees the final draft, and is threatening to go to court to try to block the publication, 'Dina Lohan: My Journey,' from being released.
It'sbeing reported Michael was contacted by Dina's publishers, Birdstreet Books, this week, informing him that he is featured in the upcoming tell-all.
He reminded the book company that he and Dina are currently under a gagging order so she can't legally write anything negative about him.
The 53-year-old father of six is not willing to sign a release form unless he is allowed to read every line that his ex-wife has penned about him or he will ask a judge to ban the book from ever seeing the light of day.
Dina's book is due to be released in February, 2014, but reports now suggest it could be delayed.
The 27-year-old actress's father signed a deal with publishers Transmedia Group earlier this year to pen his own memoir that will be mainly based on his complicated relationship with Lindsay but will also include some of his personal experiences and struggles.
