Lewis Hamilton wants to "emulate" Michael Jackson.
The reigning Formula One World champion - who has written tracks in a bid to kick start his own music career - revealed his biggest inspiration is the late pop culture icon and 'Thriller' hitmaker.
Asked on BBC Radio 4 who he'd most like to emulate, he replied: "If it was a sportsman Mohammed Ali, because he was my favourite. But if it was music, Michael Jackson."
The 30-year-old budding songwriter also praised the 'Man In The Mirror' crooner - who died aged 50 in 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication - for his amazing "gift" and appeared in awe of his talent.
He continued: "What a life and journey he had, what a voice and talent."
Meanwhile, Lewis revealed making it in music is currently top of his priorities.
He told said: "Above cars, music is what I love doing most.
"Music is the key to the soul. It's the one thing that brings people from all walks of life together and one stage to celebrate."
And his close pal and 'Pass Out' hitmaker Tinie Tempah previously revealed Lewis' repertoire of tracks - of which there are approximately 25 - are "good".
He said: "It's really, really good - it's interesting. I'm curious to see how people will react to it."
