Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan laugh every day for "a good two minutes".
The 59-year-old actor has been married to Tracy since 1988 and their love has grown deeper over time.
Michael - who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991 - said: "Every day we have something we laugh about for a good two minutes.
"The kind of support she gives me, I feel like a husband, a father and a friend first, and then somewhere way down the line, I’m someone with Parkinson’s."
Michael - who has Sam, 31, 25-year-old twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, 25, and Esme, 19 - has increasingly leaned on his wife and kids for support amid his ongoing health battle.
The Hollywood star - who played Marty McFly in the 'Back to the Future' trilogy - also admitted he now feels more comfortable than ever talking with his children about his condition.
He told People magazine: "My kids are adults now. I never held back about my situation before, but now I really can speak plainly."
Michael underwent surgery on a non-cancerous tumour on his spine in 2018.
And although he's subsequently been forced to re-learn how to walk and now struggles with memorisation, he's still loving life.
He shared: "I love being with my family. I love being with Tracy.
"I love that I don’t do a lot of useless stuff that I used to do, because I don’t have the energy or the time."
The actor was experiencing horrible pain because of the tumour, and he admits that the operation was a risky move.
However, he also considered the potential alternative to be much worse.
He said: "I was heading for paralysis if I didn’t get it operated on."
