Michael Douglas loves Catherine Zeta-Jones "more than before".
The couple suffered a "little bump in the road" when the 'Beyond The Reach' star got struck down with tongue cancer but he has revealed things are back on track for the pair.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "We had a little bump in the road. The problem in this business is that everything is so public.
"We worked things out - if both people want to work something out and make it better, you can do it. You can't do it if it's just one person.
"I love Catherine as much, more than I ever have. And hopefully the feeling's mutual."
And whilst the feeling is the same for both the 70-year-old actor and the 'Entrapment' star - who have been married since 2000 - Michael recently admitted that his wife "hated" the beard he had to grow for his role as Dr. Hank Pym in 'Ant-Man'.
He said: "She hates it. Absolutely hates it ... Baby, take a look at this beard for the last time, I'm going to shave it off."
While Catherine is less than happy about her husband's appearance for his latest role, their son is thrilled by the movie.
He said: "My 14-year-old son Dylan thinks I've never done anything in my life before 'Ant-Man'.
"That's the only way I'm getting him through the ninth grade is by promising he can go to the premiere."
