Michael Bublé has denied he cheated on Emily Blunt.
The 40-year-old singer is adamant his relationship with the 32-year-old actress didn't end after he was unfaithful but, instead, because they weren't the perfect match for one another.
Speaking on 'Entertainment Tonight Canada', he said: "It didn't end because of cheating. It ended because we weren't right for each other, and we are now exactly where we're supposed to be in our lives."
The couple romanced for three years from 2005 until 2008 and Michael insists he doesn't regret the time they spent together because it moulded him into the person he is today.
He explained: "Emily is a beautiful and loving person, and I'm grateful for the time I had with her, for the relationship. Without it, I wouldn't have had a chance to fall in love with myself enough to be with a woman like my wife."
Rumours he had cheated on Emily began to surface last month when she refused to answer whether the 'Home' hitmaker was ever unfaithful, admitting "it's complicated".
She said at the time: "I don't know, it's complicated. I never want to talk about it. I can't do it."
Meanwhile, despite their three-year romance, it didn't take long for Emily to move on as she began dating American actor John Krasinski, 36, just months after their split.
The loved-up duo got married in 2010 in Como, Italy and now have 20-month-old daughter Hazel together.
Michael also found love again shortly after the break-up with Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato.
The pair tied the knot in 2011 and have two-year-old son Noah together, as well as another little boy on the way.
