Melissa Rivers was horrified when she learned a physician had taken a picture while conducting a biopsy on the comedienne's vocal chords and is concerned that the photo of the 'Fashion Police' star - who died after suffering cardiac arrest during the routine procedure last September - will one day be made public.

In an interview with 'Entertainment Tonight,' she revealed: "I think the day I found out, I actually threw up. God! It's so wrong on so many levels, and it actually strikes fear in me that somehow, someday, somewhere, that will get out."

The 47-year-old producer also recalled her final moments with her mother, who was in a coma for a week before she passed away.

She shared: "They put a cot in the room for me, and I actually slept next to her bed that last night. And then once they removed the ventilator, we knew it would take some time, and I got into the bed with her and held her. We were all there and standing there and I'm holding her and we're chatting, waiting.

"Finally the doctor says, 'Honestly, you guys need to leave the room for a while, because often people won't allow themselves to start to let go if everyone is in the room.' So we all took a little break for a second and about an hour after that she passed."
