Melissa Joan Hart's oldest son wants a sister to "soften" things up in their male dominated house.
The 'Melissa & Joey' actress has three boys - Mason, seven, Brady, five, and 12-month-old Tucker with her husband Mark Wilkerson - and she has revealed Mason wants his parents to try for a girl to bring some more female influence into the family.
She said: "Mason, my eldest, is like, 'We have to have a girl, we need things to soften up around here.'
"I would like a fourth - but it's not because I want a girl."
Former 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' star Melissa claims she has her own methods to try and calm down her sons.
She joked to People: "I've been making them watch My Little Pony, so it's all good."
Melissa, 37, admits having three kids has taken a toll on her body and she felt pressure to lose her extra baby weight quickly after giving birth to Tucker last year.
Speaking at the Operation Shower event - sponsored by Carousel Designs to provide expectant military mothers in America with baby shower gifts - in New Jersey last week, she admitted: "Immediately after having babies everyone is talking about how quickly they can lose the weight. Really, who cares? You should just celebrate and enjoy that time in your life, but try to be healthy for the children."
Melissa gained 60 pounds during her last pregnancy but had lost 29 pounds by May and is well on schedule to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight.
